He maintains these roots by reinvesting in education and supporting young talent for the benefit of the island and its future generations. As a Balinese architect, his professional commitment to a project is only about 40percent of what the job actually entails. The balance is blending the project and its owners into the surroundings, the community, the spiritual aspects of the space it occupies and even down to details of security and service.
